How to get on with your Participant Guide… and what it is!
You’re about to take part in a programme designed for Aspiring Heads of Business. It seemed like a good idea to unite you with a programme manual and all round useful information document, a Participant Guide.
This document is an online, electronic learning tool combining different ways and the varying parts of learning in one place. A document that gives you a clear view of what to expect, how the programme works, and how to get the most out of it. It also grows with us, some of the information about Module 3, for example, won’t be here… yet.
It’s really straightforward to navigate, easy to use, a digital manual containing everything you need to know about, understand, have access to, prepare and read for your Aspiring Heads of Business Programme. Starting below you’ll see:
- Preparation tasks (EXCITE) for Module 1 and then Module 2, followed by 3. This information includes any meetings you hold with your manager, Mentor etc.
- Details about what you will be engaged with on each module, as above, the objectives you’ll take away and an overview of how this links to the position of a HoB
- PowerPoints from each module as a refresh and continuous learning (ENGAGE)
- Post work to help take your learning back to your role to prepare your development and experiences as part of the journey (EMBED)
- Engaging information and content, inspiring articles, tips and ‘lightbulb’ moments to try out and reflect on, learning links, books, websites you may find useful (EMBED). All of this is designed to be contained in one place.
Each module is unlocked as we progress so that you get the prep and content you need when you need it. It also gives us the opportunity to tailor content to feedback from you and the business as we progress, in time learning. An additional benefit is as it is electronic, it can be used on most devices, fits to size, has zoom, forward, back buttons etc…unless you tell us differently! And for the more cautious, don’t worry, you can’t change anything on it, we hope (please don’t prove us wrong!!) that apart from losing the link, it is pretty indestructible!
